To Eau Claire!!!!!

We had a very busy weekend and Devin got in lots of time with the Grandparents. We went to Eau Claire for the weekend for Tanner and Savanah's baptisms. Devin hung out with cousin Kelsy durning the service while daddy took pictures and mommy tried to keep Dawson still and quiet, not an easy task. Here is a picture of the family and Tanner and Savanah's godparents.

Dawson was not happy about having to be in the picture, he wanted to run around and see what everyone was doing.

Kelly and Nate enjoying some bonding time with their new additions. So far everyone is adjusting well.

Here is the Quade family, Dawson decided that maybe he could sit still for a few seconds and that was it, so we had to snap fast. Kelly and Nate have their hands full!!!!!
Kelly and Nate decided they wanted to go out to eat with Nate's Family before they all headed back towards the Milwaukee area so Auntie Peggy stepped in and watched the twins. It wasn't too bad seeing as they slept the whole time, so Devin got in a little mommy time.

Devin was getting ready to eat lunch in Dawsons chair, THANKS Dawson, when Kota decided he needed to come say hi, Devin thought it was the coolest thing. Sam doesn't usually come by Devin so a dog liking him is a new thing.

Devin had lots of fun eating in a big boy chair, ok so all it was missing was the tray, but he thought it was cool to use the table. When he started trying to sharpen his teeth on the table it was time to be done. Man he would eat anything!

Here is Devin playing with Dawson's toys, it is lots of fun to play with someone elses toys. I also think this is Devin's serious face or what you might like to call taking care of business.

Devin thought it was great that he was able to play with Kota because Sam avoids him at all costs. The only time Sam will go by Devin is when he has food. Kota enjoyed Devin playing with him but it didn't last long because Kota is use to Dawson who plays a little ruffer than Devin.

Look, it's a monkey pile!!!!

Sunday night we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Goshaw's house for dinner, Grandpa gave Devin a broom to play with, surprisingly he wasn't that impressed with it. But he did think that anything else he shouldn't play with was the neatest thing of course. We are a big fan of trucks right now because he can drive them all over the place.
All in all we had a great weekend in Eau Claire, THANKS everybody, see you next time!

The Twins Are Here!!!!!

Tanner and Savanah joined the world last Thursday. Kelly and the babies are doing well, they are at home and adjusting to their new lives.
Tanner Lane Quade was born at 7:08pm 7lbs 4oz and 21in.

Savanah Rae Quade was born at 7:21pm 7lbs 6oz and 19 1/2in.

Here is Devin trying to drive the John Deere Tractor backwards, hey it works both ways. He is really enjoying the new world that has been opened up to him now that he can get around more. Grandma and Grandpa Kattestad bought him new shoes so he is a little wobbly but after a few hours he was getting the hang of it.

On Sunday we went over to Kelly and Nate's to visit and see how things were going. The first night home went well. Devin decided that he really didn't like mommy holding another baby. Devin tried to see Tanner and Savanah but he doesn't really understand that he has to be gentle so we had to move him away from them. But Dawson was around to play with so they wrestled on the floor a little.

Dawson thought he needed to get in on the baby holding also but the chair was getting a little crowded and Savanah wasn't really liking all the attention, so we had to move.

Dan thought he would try out what it was like to have two babies at one time, he didn't think it was too bad but he isn't the one that has to give birth to them. Dan also thought they were really tiny, it is amazing what an extra 2lbs does, Devin seemed huge compared to them. We all had a great weekend and got lots of baby time in, can't wait to go home and see them again.

Devin's 9 Months Old!!!!!!

Well it is offical, Devin is now 9 months old!! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. His doctor check up went well. The doctor is very pleased with Devin's development. He weights 21lbs 7oz and he is 29 1/4in. He hasn't started walking on his own yet but we are now walking along the furniture a little bit. For the past couple weekends we have gone home to Eau Claire so sorry for not updating this every week, life gets away from us at times. We stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Goshaw's house the first weekend.

Grandma Chris picked up some new toys for Devin to play with when he came to visit, he was a big fan of the truck. I think he drove it all over the kitchen, and loved every minute of it, THANKS GRANDMA!

Grandpa Dale thought he would try a hand at feeding Devin, well he found that hands seem to get in the way a lot. Oh and then we put our hands in our hair, it is so much fun. But Grandpa enjoyed the mess just as much as Devin.

Ok maybe Devin enjoyed it a little more, but who couldn't love a face that looks like that!?

During the week Daddy and Devin got in a little study time. Daddy finds that studying with Devin just isn't that productive but they sure do look cute! That's my boys!
