October Fun!

October was busy for us, it seems as though it flew by, but we had a lot of fun.

Cullen loves holding his baby sister, he wants to hold her all the time but as he isn't very careful we have to make sure we are right there for that moments notice when he decides he is done holding her!

Cullen is my little helper, when we drop Devin off at school in the morning we usually take that time to get a little vacuuming done. Cullen insists on vacuuming and gets very upset when I don't let him. As you can see he is also a big sticker fan and decided to cover himself with stickers prior to vacuuming, I am sure some day he will love the fact that I took these pictures!

Here is Teagan just relaxing in her bouncer while Cullen is vacuuming, she is such a good baby, we are very lucky! Teagan is also very smiley these days and she is a chatter box!

For an art project one day we decided to decorate pumpkins, the boys had a ton of fun with this, of course anything that involves coloring or making a mess is fun in their book!

Teagan is 4 Months Old already, I can't believe how the time has flown by, it seems like just yesterday we brought her home but then other times it seems as though she has always been a part of our family. The boys adore her and want to play with her but are still a little too rough. The boys insisted that they have a picture taken with her and true to form they are being their goofy selves!! Cullen was going through a phase of taking his cloths off and he refused to put them on for the picture so this is what we got!

Halloween FUN!!!

We had a lot of fun for Halloween this year, there was a Halloween carnival for the kids at church which was a great way for the kids to have fun in a safe and warm environment. There were tons of games and activities for the kids of all ages, oh and CANDY!!

Devin was a Dragon, Cullen was a Tiger, and Teagan was a Watermelon!! Devin decided that Mommy and Daddy needed to dress up at the last minute so we went as hunters, hey it was the best we could do on short notice!!

The kids were spoiled by our neighbors and friends of course but that is ok cause that means more for mommy and daddy!! We decided to go trick or treating with the Marquis Family because it's always more fun to go with big kids! We had a great time and it was nice to have adults to talk to and the kids liked having other kids with them.

We have been working on Teagan's tummy time as she is still not wanting to roll over. We figured since she really doesn't like her tummy maybe she would roll over so she can get on her back but so far no luck with that.

Here are Teagan and Daddy having one of their evening chat sessions, I think really Daddy is trying to find out if Mommy is treating Teagan well during the day, so far I think we are all in the clear :)

Teagan 3 Months Old

Teagan is now 3 months old and weighing it at 13 lbs. She is getting so big and changing everyday, she is now smiling and trying to talk to us. She really likes to babble once her brothers have gone to bed, when she has mommy and daddy's full attention!

She also loves to sit up, I imagine it won't be long before she is sitting on her own.

Teagan's Baptism

Teagan was baptised on Sunday September 16th at Hope Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, WI. Her Sponsors are Chad and Sandy Oldham.

The Church put a stone with Teagan's name on it in the baptismal bowl along with other children that have been baptised this year.

It was a beautiful day that God blessed us with for our little girl, we couldn't have asked for a nicer day. Here are some more pictures for you to enjoy.

                                                                   Our Family

All of our munchkins with their sponsors, our children are very blessed to have such amazing people in their lives and in return we are all blessed to have them in our lives as well. Thank you God for all of your amazing blessings!!!!!

Update - Sorry it's Been Awhile!! Life Happens!

Well it looks like three kids really do keep you from getting things like a blog post done once in a while, I will attempt to do better and hopefully get one done a month! It has been a crazy year, we have added a beautiful baby girl - Teagan Muldoon Goshaw - to our family!!

Born June 11, 2012  6lbs 12oz

Also we bought a house and moved to Maple Grove, MN in January. We are really enjoying our new house and our neighbors are great, they all love our kids which is great because they are running over to their houses every chance they get.

Devin has started preschool three mornings a week at Elm Creek Elementary and he just loves it.

Four is proving to be a very interesting and challenging age but we tell ourselves everyday that this to shall pass. Overall he is a very good kid, if we could just get his brother and him to get along we would be doing great! Someday we know they will be the best of friends but for now they just want to steal each others toys and wrestle :)

Cullen is a very busy boy and now that he can talk, each day his vocabulary is growing, and unless he is sleeping he is talking!! Or should be say yelling, he is our little screamer, he makes Devin's 2s seem like they were a breeze! But none the less we try to enjoy every minute with them.

We have had a very busy summer with lots of trips back to Wisconsin to visit family. Now that the school year is in full swing we are trying to get a routine down. We walk Devin to school three days a week unless it's raining, I haven't decided if we will try to walk in the winter, it may be a little too cold for Teagan... and me! I am enjoying my time at home now that I am a stay at home mom and I think the kids are enjoying it as well.

A Day at the Beach!

Yesterday we decided it would be a great day to go to the beach and have a picnic supper. Devin was so excited when we got there that he barreled right into the water further than he could reach and tried to drown himself. He discovered quickly it was a good thing he had his life jacket on. No surprise the incident didn't stop him at all, he loved the water but made sure to wait for mom or dad before he went out too far.
Cullen on the other hand wasn't so sure about the water or sand, he wanted nothing to do with it and spent most of the day sitting in the sand filling a bucket. He did let me take him out in the water for a little bit but he still wasn't sure about it. Hopefully next time he will like it a little better.
Devin made sure that Cullen had something to play with, that is until Devin wanted the bucket and shovel.
We had a great day at the beach and I think if next weekend is this nice again we may have to make another trip there.

Cullen's 1st Hair Cut!

Last weekend Cullen had his first haircut, he was getting very tired of the curls wrapping around his ears so I figured we better get them cut off. Plus the curls were becoming food collectors because Cullen played with them whenever he ate. I was a little sad to cut the curls off, now he looks like a toddler and not my little baby anymore :(
Amy gave Devin is 1st haircut so we thought it was only right to have her cut Cullen's hair for the 1st time as well. He didn't want to sit still at all so I think we gave Amy a challenge for the day.
All in all Cullen did a great job and now his neck is free of hair so I am sure it is much cooler for the summer, if that is possible in this heat lately.

4th of July

I was informed the other day that it has been way too long since I last updated the boy's blog, so I am taking a few minutes to update everyone on what has been going on in our lives. The boys are now 3yrs old and 13 months, I am not sure where the time went but it is going fast, before we know it Devin will be in Kindergarten. Devin and Cullen are best buds most of the time, they have there moments like any siblings do but for the most part they really like to play together and Devin is always watching out for Cullen.
For the 4th of July weekend Dan and I went to Iowa for a wedding and to visit friends so the boys stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Kattestad. They played a lot with their cousins and kept everyone busy.
We made it back for the 4th and had a picnic at Grandpa and Grandma Goshaw's house, here is a little of what the day was like.
Cullen likes to spend a lot if time driving in his car, that is when his brother lets him have a turn and watch out when you try to take him out of it, he doesn't go easily! I think he would spend the whole day in it if we let him.Grandpa Dale and Devin fixed the slide on the swing set, Devin loves anything that has to do with fixing or building something. I'm not sure what Devin will do when he gets older but I think it is safe to say it will have something to do with fixing or making things with a hammer!
Cullen has found another use for Sam's food dishes, a chair! He thinks it is hilarious and the more I tell him no the more he wants to do it, of course!
